In creating the company in September 2000, Quorum’s founder directors brought together a balanced mix of experience in a wide range of ILS disciplines teamed with complementary engineering backgrounds.

Strategic Partnerships enhance Quorum’s capabilities, accessing specialists across Europe.  Quorum ensure the correct high calibre consultants are matched and allocated to specific project tasks, and are backed up by the skills and experience of the Quorum core team.

This balance of partnership and growth has enabled Quorum to develop significantly in a relatively short time.  We are now recognised as one of the leading providers of ILS.

The company is ambitious, has met all its managed development targets and continues to grow whilst retaining its ethical business stance.

Business sectors

Although the large majority of clients who have benefited from the services provided by Quorum Logistic Support Limited (QLSL) are in the defence sector, an increasing number of business sectors have identified that the application of ILS can add value, and give a unique edge to various programmes in other business sectors.  In response, Quorum now offer a number of specialist services under Quorum Consulting Services Limited (QCSL).  To meet the needs of the ILS community and for continued knowledge of the processes and procedures utilised, Quorum provides formal, bespoke and mentoring training at our purpose built offices or at the client’s site.

Quorum Consultants

Quorum Consultants are selected on the basis of core competencies, team ethos, with an innovative flair and their contribution to the business.  Quorum prides itself on the selection of high calibre consultants chosen from a wide spectrum of industries covering defence and commercial organisations. Quorum consultants have achieved academic qualifications to BSc Honours and HND/HNC levels together with related hands-on experience to provide clients the optimal service to support their needs.

Quorum promotes and encourages its consultants in continued further education and training that helps and assists in the growth of the business and the individual.  A number of consultants are studying at York University for an MSc in Safety Critical Systems Engineering, Computer Science in Business via the Open University and Project Management techniques using Microsoft Project.

Quorum Consultants use a methodical and, where appropriate, innovative approach on each project by initially understanding the defined requirements, the scope of the activity and the deliverables.  This ensures that the system support requirements are identified and analysed in a structured manner to influence design, reduce major cost drivers, improve supportability, reduce whole life costs and enhance availability.
