TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS

Technical publications provide the information necessary to operate, maintain, repair, support and dispose of equipment throughout its life. Technical Publications includes such medium outputs as hard ‘paper’ copy or, soft ‘interactive’ copy utilising descriptive such as text, graphics, animation, video, etc to describe:

  System description and operation;
  System servicing and maintenance;
  Diagnostic support;
  Repair information;
  Supporting flow, system and wiring diagrams;
  Software documentation;
  Logistic Support Analysis reports.

Quorum can produce or assist in the preparation and development of Technical Publications Plans and Procedures covering:

  Army Equipment Support Publication (AESP);
  Air Publications (APs;)
  Books of Reference (BRs);
  Complete Technical Publication Programmes;
  Individualised commercial Technical Publications.

To ensure cost effective publications, Quorum produces Technical Publications and associated informational documents in-house. When building data modules for Interactive Electronic Technical Publications, Quorum utilises specialists software to apply XML / DITA attributes to modules, thus providing a complete authoring ability to its client.

Quorum’s unique web-based application is considered to be ground breaking in that it provides Defined Login Accessibility to users based on ‘real-time’ configuration controlled parts information. The application is designed allows our clients and their customers to gain timely access to the information they need, when they need it and in a format that best suits them. This application is ideally suited for both complex and simple equipment by providing the capability to split sub systems into their own distinct part catalogues.
