Description:
Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) provides the disciplines for ensuring that supportability and cost factors are identified and considered during the design stage of a system or equipment with the aim of optimising the Whole Life Cost (WLC).
The course refers to Def Stan 00-60 which defines the Ministry of Defence (MOD) requirements for the application of ILS. It covers all aspects of ILS from the requirement to the role of the ILS manager but focuses on the principal elements of ILS and their practical application.
Aim:
Provide the delegate with an understanding of Integrated Logistic Support.
